Local 2544 has joined the Arizona Police Association to provide cellular service at a discounted rate. Members are able to purchase cell phones and service plans at a fraction of the retail cost. If you are having issues with your phone you can call 800-922-0204 and speak with Verizon. Please email the Local treasurer for membership verification. Dear Local 2544 Member,
As a result of our recent audit, we found that you are no longer paying union dues. Because dues payment is required to maintain eligibility, this means you are no longer eligible to participate in the Verizon Plan offered through Local 2544.
If you have been newly promoted or transferred out of the Tucson Sector, please contact Samantha Covino so your account can be updated accordingly. You will need to transfer your line off the union-sponsored plan. Please email samantha.j.covino@gmail.com to begin the transfer process.
You will be unable to keep your current cell phone number if you don’t properly transfer to a personal Verizon Plan. To avoid any interruption in service, please complete the transfer as soon as possible. If you believe you received this notice in error, Samantha can also assist in reviewing your dues status.
